Novritsch SSP18 straight out of box. (Unboxing, impressions and initial brief test and review)

The triggerpull is intentional the designer of the SSP18 Josef Muscha wanted the triggerpull to be as close to real steal version as possible. According to the co owner of Austria Arms he was successful in doing so.

Hi Bertholt, thanks for message. First of all - I like the SSP18 in general. I saw that video(I saw them all I guess), I know Josef's intention was to bring trigger pull close to real steal G, yet I do not see reason for that, my opinions in points: 1. Trigger weight is similar, I meassured the trigger pull of SSP18 - it is on edge of 5.5lbs -similar to service G. Yet originaly service G have not had so heavy trigger originaly neither- they increased original weight of trigger(if I remember correctly from 4,5) to 5,5lbs for saftey reasons- yet this heavy pull is making accurate shooting very difficult - many(users in services) complained about it, yes it can prevent som unintentional shots but when need to it is more difficult to shoot precisly. 2. This is AIRSOFT replica, it does not need extra safety feature for preventing unintentional shot by accidental pull when shocked. I do not understand why to chose this feature for AIRSOFT replica which You use during Airosft game because You want to score a hit. In real steal world everybody who wants to tune their pistol for race or more accurate shoothing opts for better trigger and less heavy trigger pull. And rest of SSP18 design was done to make it better for Airosft. For example FXB - fixed barrel, they went away from mimicing sliding feature of outter barrel to "airsoft beneficial" fixed barrel design. Kick or recoil of this replica was lowered - it is more weak compared to much of other replicas for better airsoft behavior. So they made many things and features to get better airosft results but they opted for one real steal feature which is not beneficial for airsoft at all. 3. I understand that Josef probably wanted the training tool, because from many of his videos and videos published on novritsch channel it is apparent that he is also real steal shooter, but many airsofters just want to play airsoft not to train with their airsoft replica for handling the real steal. 4. Trigger pull is not just weight of trigger. SSP18 trigger pull it is not just heavy pull, I do not like the travel and behavior neither - there is strong wall - 5,5lbs to overcome it and then trigger pull is long and not smooth - before "release" of hammer there is something like second wall. And this I do not like about the trigger the most, not just the weight 5. With FXB, weak kick, perfect reliability of operation(it cycles flawlesly) it would be just perfect airsoft tool if they would make the pull more smooth and for example with weight between 3-4lbs or less(race pistols can get with pull to interval between 1,5-3lbs to not break Your aim) Just to remember these are my opinions, feel free to comment, I do not say something is good or bad or something what I write is fact.

How many seconds should u hold down the gas for?

Sorry, I am not shure I understand correctly. Do You mean how long does it take to fill the magazine with gas? To fill the mag with gas tooks between 6-8s or at least I do it that way, sometimes I do it longer - to be shure that the mag is full. or something else?

You cant really shot at 60 meters with it.. i have co2 version . Use 0,32g bbs and with strait hop up set i can hit at like 45 meters max awerything above is just luck

I am preparing deep review where I will shoot at target from various distances and I agree, everything above 45m is matter of luck
