You don't necessarily need to switch DAWS in order to make decent music, its all about exploring and letting your imagination run wild, so don't doubt your software. There are some features that ableton features that I wish FL Studio has but sometimes you just have to compromise with the things that you use within the software.

using a wavetable synthesizer, put in a harmonically rich wave (like a square or saw wave) in two oscillators or outputs (they should be the same), two (or one) octaves down, then add detune on one wave or make it a semitone off, around that point
