I’m not undermining what Novympia have said in this video because I wholeheartedly agree. However, luckily for most, I both look like a Rhino and have a similar thickness of skin. The point being made is that if you aren’t sure, you should just stay silent. I think it was Willam who once said “if they can’t fix it in 10 seconds, shut the fuck up!” Oregano in their teeth? Mention it. Boy hair showing? Mention it. Silicone nipple out? Mention it. You’ve grown to the similar size of a garden shed? SHHH! Your skin is the texture of over-microwaved porridge? SHHH! Where is your other arm and how did you lose it? SHHH! I believe it’s called “tact” and some of you need to learn it because what doesn’t phase me in the slightest, might have an unbelievably detrimental effect on somebody else’s day 💕🎀

the Char thing has made me uneasy in several videos... a lot of comments on how she smells or the wig or the behaviour or whatever. I actually believe that many that write those comments even love Char, but they are in the mistaken impression that, as she's the butt of the joke all the time, they are free to chime in. It's like Nova and Olympia say in the video. I'm sorry but they are not your mates. It's also delicate because -exactly because they are not your mates and you don't really know them, you don't know to which comments they can be especially sensitive. Just better avoid.

​@@Willowin22 It is really hard, especially with Discord, Patreon and Twitch where you're creating a whole raft of friendships that are all one-sided in different ways - they *look* like communities but there's no sideways connections, it's just the centre person talking and occasionally responding to you, and since the focal point is on what the centre person is doing, that takes so much social pressure off yourself that it becomes easy to coast as an audience member to your own social group. My advice for the situation would be to, if you're in the discord/twitch chat or something, make a point of talking to other people. Shift your focus to the community members because they're all in the same boat you are, and probably share a lot with you already.

Nova, I think you hit the nail on the head when you said how you two and Char go after each other all the time, so the audience thinks they can too. I do think that's why so many people say "love you though!" after the dig because they feel like part of the group, think they can play along, and want to let you know they're not just random haters. Of course there are the straightforward homophobes and such, but I think many are trying to engage in some good natured ribbing, and are genuinely trying to say little disses that you'll think are funny since that's how you guys often speak. It's nice that you clarified that you're not down with it. Hopefully people will listen and understand.

We're all for poking fun but the comparison I'd make is when you see queens during the drag race reading challenges who just say flat out insults with no intelligence, wit or punchline. They aren't received well. There's a fine line but a big difference and there's also a handful of topics which I think are just off limits outside someone's friendship group and that includes weight.
