I remember when I was at uni, a lecturer explaining why we need both Labour and Conservatives. He said that they both played their part. Labour spent money and made things great for the people. But they always spend too much money and then it's up to the conservatives to come in and to do the dirty work to get the country back on track. Raise taxes, cut budgets, break down debt. And when the country can't take anymore but the economy is functional again, vote Labour to make things better for the people again. And the cycle goes on. I'm saying this because the system is broken. Tories somehow cut back, raised taxes and fixedbthe economy but also managed to spend more money and ruin it at the same time. Now Labour are in, they are spending money we don't have and making it for it by cutting energy caps and pensioners heating whilst we are on the verge of more tax rises. These parties are now the same, both trying to play both roles at once. And it's killing the country. When people say, they are both the same, this is actually 100% correct.
