@@nikykaur3473 I don't care about the looks of an actor or actress so much. What's more important is how talented they are and whether they have screen presemce! People like Vijay Varma, Raj Kumar Rao, Vicky Kaushal might look like "ordinary middle class guys" as opposed to "conventionally handsome Bollywood heroes" but I can still watch them on screen in any role. Ranbir "may look classy" but he is choosing some very weird and horrid scripts right now. Tu Jhoothi main makkar was so damn cringe like the kind of role Karthik used to do. Also, what the hell is Animal??? That teaser was so weird. Is it just random brainless action and violence throughout with no story or plot? I don't think it will work for me!

But since he wasn’t a chamcha or came from an influential royal family, he has had to struggle harder than other insiders. Shahid is a SECOND GENERATION ACTOR not a STAR KID. His father was a character actor who was mostly out of work during his marriage with Shahid’s mother. A Star Kid is someone who is the son of a Star who has had movies run to due to their star power. Sunny, Bobby, Ranbir, Tiger, Aryan are Star kids

I remember the Koffee with Karan episode Shahid had graced with his brother Ishaan and he had just lashed out about less screen time. Even I share this giew that Shahid Kapoor was brilliant in the movie. His acting as a Rajput was mellow yet refreshing, restrained yet confident and so calming all at the same time. The scene where he confronts Allauddin after being released from confinement by Padmaavati is stellar.

Actually, you can start choosing movies and roles that you want to do only after you have some financial security. I have seen interviews where Irfan Khan and Manoj Bachpay, both amazing actors, said that they have done movies and roles they would have otherwise not done just for money. So, you can be choosy once you are financially secure. Peace to all
