frankenstein was inaccurate analogy as viktor is remorseless in what he did. Oppenheimer was so shaken by his creation that president called him a crybaby was written in history for everyone to know.

Meanwhile Oppenheimer wasn't directly affected by the creation of the bomb, yet he still was very remorseful and advocated against disarmament and banning of the weapon. (That is probably what you meant with your comment) BUT, Victor still was remorseful in his actions. He considered suicide many points throughout the novel and fell into a deep sickness after he created the Creature. Either way I have too much time on my hands lol

Feelings on this playlist of music perfectly suits Oppenheimer's feelings when he was saying those words. Very big number of people misunderstood emotions behind these words he spoke, they think that he is proud and that he is feeling Godlike as a creator of atomic bomb... I, myself, had heard such nonsense from quite a few people.. I heard his voice and seen the look on his face when he was saying that words in front of camera (... destroyer of worlds...), ; he KNEW that his work and doings were PURE EVIL, and he was shattered with that.
