I had a beautiful collection of Royal Doulton that used to belong to my grandparents. But sadly a few years ago a box got broken and much of it was damaged but the few cups and saucers that survived are treasures to me. And there is something quintessentially charming about tea out of a proper cup and saucer and a tea cake or scone on a fine bone china plate. Loved, loved, loved the 1950's magazine, so nostalgic and beautiful dresses, would love to wear those full petticoats and twirl! :) Thank you Jeannie for this wonderful video, take good care :)

Wowwww!, my Mom used to take those Ayds in the early 70’s and I actually thought I must’ve been imagining that I made that up in my head because I never saw her taking those again or remember seeing them in a store so I never rally knew what exactly they were. But it turns out I remembered them exactly as they were, candy squares (Mom had chocolate flavored ones) in that same box. I even surprised myself that I would recall the name when the memory popped up afterall even tho I thought I “imagined it” up in my mind. I also remember asking her what they were and she was kind of hesitant about telling me because she didn’t want me to eat them and she also felt a bit embarrassed about me learning she was using a diet aid and she was quite self conscious about her weight because she remained on the slightly plumper, full figured side, but actually wasn’t too plump but she felt she was after she had kids.

Thank you. But please don’t ever tell me that something you don’t like is “idiotic.” Many people really enjoy seeing something different. Being called idiotic was super hurtful. Of all the kind and supportive comments I got, the one that stuck with me was being told what I did was idiotic. Just so you know. I’m a real person behind these videos and I read every single comment. When people are mean, it hurts.
