Prices on Nvidia cards probably won't drop much at all, they were very clear to investors that they were staggering the launch of 40 series cards specifically to keep prices on 30 series as high as possible. They even made it clear that there was plenty of 30 series inventory at the end of last year, but they were releasing it slowly to - again - keep prices high.

I only dislike when people on lower budgets buy Nvidia cards when they could get more out of AMD cards at the price point they're looking at. I'm running all AMD because especially with used cards in the picture I could get the most performance from them at the piss poor budget I was running with. "I want the best of the best" is not something anybody should argue with unless it's to argue what that best option is, which is still stupid in the case of the current GPU landscape.

DO NOT buy an Intel GPU.... Those thing a crap and a waste of money. They released a failure of a GPU and told people of it failures before it was released. A card not supporting DX9 right from the get go is a HUGE colossal failure. I would wait at least 3 years to buy an Intel card

@@tnt_gaming21Well that's good DX9 is fixed. I feel like Intel released their GPU's in an Alpha state (so to speak) and just weren't ready for market IMO. They should have waited another couple more years at least to iron things out and make a full product. I upgraded my system a few months back and got an AMD 7900XT. I wanted the XTX model but they were sold out everywhere. I was impatient and was a very nice upgrade over my 1080TI.

@@fade2black001 its never going to be “fixed” since theres no actual dx9 hardware, but the performance improves very rapidly through driver updates. dx12 and 11 are fine though. i also agree that arc was sort of a beta test, and i think its also why they didnt release an arc 9 yet to compete with the 4090 and 7900xtx. people would have totally shit on them but no one cares that much about a mid range card

Why isn't the 4070, despite being a decent card (minus actual performance), selling? It's because it is double the price of a 970 which was 329$ back then. No one wants mediocre performance at 600$. Nvidia graphics card prices are through the roof but you could get a good deal for an AMD GPU. I built my pc just two days ago. Asus rx 6600 8gb Intel i3-12100f (used stock cooler) Corsair vengeance LPX 2x8 3200mhz Along with all the other stuff, the total price of the build came to £575 and it runs pretty much every game I throw at it with ease

Not a good idea buy a 3070, new games are showing that 8 gbs of vram would be a problem in performance, leading to stutters and even crashes, so spend a ton of money to end playing with medium or low graphics and just on 1080, even if you card is capable of more just for the vram its a thing to take in mind

8 gigs is just enough now. But its really not future proof. You can play every game at the highesr setting on 1440p with at least 60fps. In my country the rtx 3070 is the same prife as some of the rx 6900 xt. So i would go with that.
