Great follow up thanks Andy. On the last episode one comment included a great idea to emulate plate pre-delay by routing thru R2R and then take the playback head through the reverb. With the right offset that would be interesting. Learning so much on this channel from you and your listeners!

@@andypickeringmusic I believe the slapjack delay on my A3440 @ 15ips is 160ms, 7.5" is 76ms. Predelays at these timings seem like they'd be perfect for vocals. I'll have to try that when my reverb box arrives!

Awesome. It IS that good! Reverb seems to be one thing I never settle on. You nailed it. More about my 64'.. lol. It has the original am radio with reverb. What's so cool is it's a stand alone box. I mean you hit a bump you get the twang from hell. But very cool. Used to listen to baseball games on the way home from work. Sounded like you were in the stadium. Be cool to hook it up in a studio situation.
