I own 91 MR2.. would never do this.. BUT!!! From what I do know, your kit would be less of maintenance headache than a real 355.. and cheaper (Toyota) so kudos on that at least..

Yep, that's the only reason why I didn't totally dismiss this. The F355 is such a beautiful, beautiful car. However, it seems to be replete with maintenance issues. If I could have Toyota reliability with the F355 look, who wouldn't? It would need some horsepower behind it though, like a 2zz or turbo.

i really like these kit-cars, they do look like the real thing. the mr2 is better as a platform to customize that a Pontiac Fiero, the Pontiac always looks weird and older somehow.

That’s as about as close as you can get with a mr2, good job!! I wonder what the actual chassis dimensions are on a f355, if the chassis could be modified to the dimension of a Ferrari, then it would be really hard to tell the difference, to the untrained eye it could pass. Nice work

Its an amazing replica, I really take my hat off to people who can do such a fine job, I'm studying an extended diploma in mechanics so I have a vague idea "and i mean vague" to how hard this must be. I own an mr2 cant sa i would ever put a ferrari kit on it, a v6 camry engine would of given a good ferrari sound, otherwise looks great and the soft top conversion really finishes it off excellent job!

I’ve seen a few now with the wheels not fitting the arches right. The back wheels look like castors. Or is it because of the shape of the mr2? I don’t know much about kits but I know my Ferrari’s so just curious really. Personally I wouldn’t buy this as I don’t like the rear at all but the front half looks great.

My wife had a red MR2 and i always thought it looked like a little Ferrari anyway, without a bodykit. I can't understand why the F355 kit isn't as popular as other Ferrari kits. I thinks this car looks great. I would drive it no problems. I enjoyed driving my wife's MR2 every now and then. I thought it was a great little motor. By the way..
