The fact that nearly every single minigame used either fit with the song being parodied, like Karate Man and him wearing "his grandad's clothes", the lumbearjack during "Timber", or Chorus Kids for "scream and shout", or fit the lyrics and tone of the part is fucking genius.

Also, the Flipper Rolls- the guy with them is in a large coat, like Macklemore in the video.

Honestly, half of the reason I made this was because I knew that Crop Stomp would be great over that segment. AND I WAS RIGHT.

there were some parts it got offbeat at but this was pure art regardless

The shifting tempo was hard for me to keep track of, and it doesn't appear to be documented anywhere (or maybe it is, and I didn't look hard enough). Glad you liked it nonetheless!

Was trying to find that one Rick Astley song but wound up here instead. No regrets, sick bop. Unrelatedly, does anyone know what the thing at 1:46 is called?

Also, do you have tips on how to zoom in? Im new to heaven studio and I couldnt find out how to zoom in on parts of the screen
@Cratmang3 ай бұрын
You can zoom in using the Move Camera block in Visual Effects, and then adjust the In/Out property to move the camera back and forth. At default, this is set to 10. A lower number moves the camera closer, a higher number moves it further away. You can set In/Out to a number less than 0, but for most games (especially the 2D ones), that'll cause the camera to move through the scene, revealing the empty void beyond. So unless there's a specific effect or transition that you're hoping to achieve, I'd avoid doing that. You can also change the Right/Left and Up/Down properties to home in on specific parts of the scene other than the centre, which I imagine you might want to do. I hope that helps, and have fun! :)

In my defence, the tempo changes frequently throughout the song. I could’ve tried to measure each individual segment myself, but it seemed sync up well enough when set to 155 bpm (up until the transition into “Sexy and I know it”), and I didn’t want to spend so long on this project to the point that it wasn’t fun anymore, so I let it be.

Tempting, but I probably won't. If I make another remix, it won't be of a song or medley with a BPM that jumps all over the place.
