Yes, me too. Although I play keys in church & plays a lot of Hillsong "modern" songs (with a lot of synth pads)...I really miss the "raw" sound like this (less pad, no backing track, lots of brass & acoustic guitars)

People always change, and even the believers will sometimes stumble and fall but Christ remains the same with His. I think it’s because of the difference in the mission of the 2 (Hillsong Worship and Hillsong United). Hillsong Worship’s music is for resources of the local church/es, thus it had a more biblical approach. Hillsong United creates music to reach individuals outside the church.

Christianity isn't just about leading the people to worship in their lips. They also have to walk the faith in daily life like any other professing Christians. It's not really easy to bear the name of Jesus. Song leaders are the favorite target of the devil. He just need a break til God cross in his life again. God bless all genuine worship leaders who have a deep relationship with God. No judgment, losing faith is not a surprise. I consider that moment as growing at some point.
