It's well-known in communities dedicated to specific skills that doing something is not the same as practicing it, which we novelists/writers call "deliberate practice." You can substitute "intentional" and "focused" for "deliberate." They're all used.

I liked 100 Mario. I might be biased because I only got SMM2 (skipped Wii U) but I feel like even though it's a shame the 100 Mario was removed, "Endless" is better. You can do so many things with Endless... SMM2 is definitely not superior in EVERY aspect, but it's better than SMM1 in most regards. I think. IMHO.
