HI gaz had to post a message used to see this tower on the way to hebden bridge for a walk up to stodley pike my father took me there as a kid and i asked him where is that weird tower thing? you took me as a kid? anyway december 23rd 2013 he took me there on a foggy cold day to reach the top which i thought was just the top of a hill to be amazed to see not a dream but the tower from when i was about 10 years old! anyway we used to pass halifax and id see it from the train this wainhouse tower! now you got me i have to go see it and climb all the fekkin stairs! because thats even more impresive than stodley! ..as much as it brings back great memories, i once thought where just dreams! so i hope its open whenever i go! all the best mate love seeing your vids ..all the best kev.

@@GrizzlyGaz We had a Jack Russell Terror lol . Until he chewed threw all our chair leg's. Our vet said use Tabasco around the leg's of chair. Needless to say I got a dog that loves Tabasco lol. We had to rehome the little one before we ran out of furniture lol

Went up in as a kid with my dad in the mid 80s. might have to have another walk up it after seeing your video, but at 47 I bet it is harder work than I remember. I also have a steeplejack mate who has laddered the tower a few years ago.
