It would be really dumb of amazon to allow now tv to have prime video on their 4K devices, People wouldn’t bother buying An amazon fire stick, Now tv do not allow their app on amazon fire sticks so amazon clearly won’t allow their content on now tv either.

The NowTV boxes are cut down versions of Roku Streaming devices. The OS is the Roku OS - The channel store on the NowTV versions are cut down from the full Roku channel store (which DOES contain Prime Video) - blame Sky that its not included!

This box is made by Roku, so basically a Roku box. Sky made an investment in Roku a while back.

Haven't you noticed everything you watch or type's of programs you like even the things you talk about then advertisements "appears" even a few hours later? These devices (RUKU) now TV are eavesdropping in on you > [read the small print deep down on the menu and settings only then will you realize how gullible you've Been. Goodbye!.

Question please...is ROKU, meaning a device WITH the word ROKU on it available in Italy or anywhere in Europe or not? or is it by the SKY Box powered by Roku?....... whichever the answer is....where to buy?.......also, can you add ROKU channels to it or just proprietary ones by SKY ? The problem of the year tv and now tv stick is that you can't use basic functions without subscriptions such as netflix, youtube and others without logging into your account. Fire tv, chrome and xiaomi mi tv and others have it. That's why people don't buy new tv and a year very much, but fire tv breaks sales records.

A quick point: do not watch 'live' TV, as you get the adbreaks which you don't when you watch the shows on demand. Also: I have an older Now box, and it does NOT have Freeview on it. As a cheap thing, sure it's fine but the lack of flexibility to download other UK catch-up apps (eh for the Horror Channel, the new d-play etc) is INFURIATING! I want all my stuff on one thing, y'dig? Anyway, I've been happy but limited with mine.

You will get 1080p on your TV. 4k KZbin might work but it won't be real 4k experience on your 1080p TV. Yes sky's ports on this box is 720p.

Michael Dart I’ve been watching now tv for many years without a tv license, if u delete the bbc I player app off the now tv box u don’t need a tv license. A tv licence inspector knocked my door I let him showed him I didn’t have the i player app installed an he said they would visit again in 2 years which is standard. Of course they want tv license money so they keep this information quiet that u can simple delete the i player app off the now tv box Perfectly legal and free to carry on watching yr now tv. But I will add that if u watch the bbc i player on any other device mobile/laptop in yr home u will need a tv license so be careful what u say when an inspector does knock. Sorry for the long reply I hope this information is helpful 😊
