This isn’t really a good metric for success. If you change 100 cards, and only one was bugged, but that bug made the game unplayable, that would NOT be a success. It’s about the severity of the bugs, not the number of bugs. Maybe if you only play zombies then the bugs don’t really matter, but for plant players, running into glitch abusers 60% of the time really makes it hard to enjoy the game.

Nah, people have a right to be upset. Plants are worse right now, BUT I will say that that is only because of the bugs. Once those are ironed out the game will probably be even again because plants do still have great strategies like you said. However, I completely understand why plant players are upset about the changes even without the bugs, because lots of players (myself included) don’t have the cards necessary to make a good plant deck after the patch, so we’ve gotta grind a bunch of ads for another few months :(. Budget plant decks got hit hard this update, especially aggro Solar Flare which is probably the most popular budget plant deck (although that strategy isn’t dead necessarily, just needs restructuring, but budget players can’t just do that).

New half banana works so well with already potent cards like pepper md, ketchup mechanic, and captain cucumber, and cross pollination is a fun alternative to flourish that guarentees a fruit for the half banana to buff, and a flower for briar rose variants (while still working with captain cucumber to make them cheap for spamming later!). Glad we still have 0 cost lil' buddy, the puff shroom nerf was so uncalled for...

The main reason people are upset is that they didn’t change recycle costs for nerfed cards like the did in the update. So people who had previously invested all of their sparks into one good deck now have a bad deck and can’t change to one of the new ones that are good.

Have you thought about combining cloning Clique Peas with Potted Powerhouse? If you clone a clique pea with imitator or pear pearadise it starts at a base 1/1 and continually gets buffed until it reaches the stats on par with every clique pea, and also buffs the other ones on the board which grows powerhouse a lot. In some of my games I feel like I can get a 20/20 powerhouse by like turn 8/9 which with a plant food is an OTK. I remember your All-Out Clique Pea deck but I wonder if the new update makes it more enticing with Sizzle being better for control and zombies generally feeling more lategame heavy?

That’s not a bug, and it’s been in the game for a while. When you teleport in a gravestone, the plant hero sees you having extra brains to cover the cost of the gravestone. The zombie hero has the normal amount of brains. When a gravestone is revealed, the brains are subtracted.
