Wow, that scene after the explosion, Tom's pain really got to me. I have rarely seen such fine, deeply felt acting. Greenwood has been superb this entire way, but this moment was a memorably high point of his craft during this series. Thank you for that, Bruce.

Yes, this is so true. It is rare to see this sort of performance in a TV show. I remember Anthony Hopkins giving a performance that had a similar impact but that was in a movie.

Bruce Greenwood is something of a Canadian legend in the acting community.

Man, this episode is so deep. Lawrence was so acutely aware of afflictions of conscious minds, the pain and fear caused by attachment to memories and primal sensations. The journey to the ultimate truth is only way out of the pain, even if that means diving deep into it. Bruce's performance is pure perfection!!!!

How many seasons where there? I'm binge watching and it's been awhile since I have originally watched the series. I was watching pretty much what was out there at the time.

It's interesting how they seem to have modelled Allison's look after Laura: probably betting that the resemblance would strengthen Tom's attachment.

Thomas has repeatedly been jumped from behind for 20 episodes AND STILL< never watches his back! Makes me wonder about the writers.

There is a neat trick! She has her hands up in the air while he uses both of his to remove her sweater. As he finally pulls her sweater over her fingers, he has also managed to remove his shirt, simultaneously!

Considering the plot I wonder if his memories of Laura were real. Did she really existed ?
@frankieg93876 жыл бұрын
Jirosj I often wondered about that as well. Considering what we learn at the end of the series that his entire persona was fabricated by Them, including his memories, it is still possible that some of his real memories were buried deep within him, and remained in tact, only to resurface when triggered by the man with mirrors. This question also arises after re-watching the episode with his father, i.e are all his memories of his father real in that episode or fabricated to suit the father he meets in that episode.

It so cool when you can't get out of a wooden house) Did he fancy making a fire upstairs to put down the walls?) There was definitely some stuff at that place to ignite.
