Mirror represents reflection. By reflecting on our actions we build higher understandings and constructs. Reflection is central to the Iranian culture as independent is to American culture. To reflect is not just to see yourself but is to pay conscious attention to what you do. By reflecting on your actions in this physical world as seen in Haft Seen, one can go to the conceptual world where there is light (candle). Thank you for posting.
