My wife is Thai and living with me in the UK. She tells me that the prices in the Thai markets have increased very much, particularly pork, chicken, papaya and rice. Many cannot afford the new prices and now buying crocodile at 70Bt. Pork is 300Bt kg. Have you noticed the big price rises?

Prices have increased, but nothing that much. Still buy pork here at $5-6 US/kg. Rice still cheap. Mainly the imported stuff that has gone up, which is understandable.
