After a rainy travel day, where Eddie gets dunked in the Mekong River, we had some exploring to do. Pakse is one of those places that will surprise you. As a key location to start exploring the surrounding countryside, Pakse sure has a lot to offer in its own right. We spend a day exploring it for ourselves.

Same here. I'm from Seattle. I want to enjoy my life and experience new places. Laos is a beautiful country. It has cooler temperatures in northern towns like Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang. If you like island life, southern Laos is for you. Don Det island is nice. But if you travel to Bolaven Plateau, it has cool temperatures too. They grow coffee there.

Not sure about swimming in the Mekong River Eddie, one thing about traveling in these Asian countries is that it is not expensive to have your laundry done 😂 The Palace Hotel looks awesome. Laos is one place I have yet to discover. The food sounds good 👍🏽 Great to see you are still travelling around.
