Mina's love for study and school puts a smile on my face. As a retired teacher, I wish all children shared her enthusiasm. Big Loop E 6 not too rainy, be here for Big Loop E 7. Cheers, Todd!

As always, a brilliant video. They saw you coming, mate. You paid and tipped for the short trip. Great views from the mountain top, but you couldn’t get me up there, even in my younger days. I’m not afraid of heights, it’s just the instability of the walkway and stairs. Mina is growing like a weed😊 Always like to see her smiling and happy. NeeNee is looking as lovely as ever. Stay healthy and safe, always. Cheers mate.

You are unbelievably fit Todd to make it to the top with that rickety view point. I would have died after the first set of steps. Absolutely worth the sacrifice that you made on our behalf, as the view from the top was stunning. Thank you so much. I love the way in which the limestone has been eroded by wind and rain to produce some amazing shapes. The guesthouse is so cheap for the room that you got, although I suspect it would be a lot more than that in high season. Once again, thank you for sharing. God bless you all 😀❤🙏

It is in my bucket list for next time I’ll go in Laos , last time I did the Bolaven plateau loop in 12 days and not in 2 or 3 days like many young backpackers I met. They are backpacking the south east Asia during one year and there are missing so many beautiful things

Good Day Todd, the scenery is something worth risking a cardiac arrest to see.😉 Your breath taking climb reminded me the time I was sight seeing at the Leshan Giant Buddha in Sichuan Province , China, where what seemed to be infinite climb up stone steps in humidity of a Finnish sauna, I honestly thought my heart and lungs were going to explode, the locals breezed passed me like I was standing still. 😂 I can definitely understand your love and dedication to the country and towards the peoples of Laos. When compared to Thailand , Laos is definitely the better value tourist destination. / Al

G'day Todd, I have recently watched a doco on SBS about an archealogical dig very close to the Mekong, in fact I think that the said they had found ancient holes for posts right on the banks of the river at low water. They found some gold religious items buried close to the river bank and said they could have been linked to the Kymer empire. They climbed the mountain behind the find which had religious dieties on top of the mountain, but no ladders or stairs to get to the top, in fact the climb looked pretty advanced. the mountain behind the river is Lingaparvata Mountain, I think. Have you been to that part of the Mekong and can you reference a video if you have been. Looking forward to your response. Keep up the good work. maybe when get to Newcastle, for Christmas, you can organise a get together for subscribers.
@NowinLaoАй бұрын
Sorry David, I don't recognize the name of that river. Did it say a province or closest city?
@davidburrows7508Ай бұрын
@@NowinLao The river is the Mekong river, there is a temple close to the river, Wat Phu, and the mountain is behind the temple.
@NowinLaoАй бұрын
To find videos in my library, go to the video section on my channel and you will see the search icon 🔎 just above the videos. Search for words there like "Wat Phu" and this video and others will come up for you and anymore that are related.
