Hey Pedro If you click on the fault codes with the + it will give you a drop down menu I believe #5 gives you a little information on WHY it throws the codes, also you can go in after the regen under the logs, and play it back in fast forward that way you don't always have to babysit the truck. Hope it helps!

If we see this, should we start small, meaning replace or clean DPF FILTERS? THEN IF down the road we see test with similar numbers, call for full replacement of the one box? Thoughts

@@johnavalos6010 depends on the year you are working on. So early models with DEF have a different work up or approach. What year are you working on.

@@johnavalos6010 if you see soot going through and you can see it at the tail pipe. It can be the DPF are allowing soot to pass through or the One Box itself is compromised. This will definitely bring NOx efficiency down. How many miles are on the truck?

I am experiencing similar issue with a 2016 DD15 with 745000 miles. Truck will ask for a regen if loaded heavy after going up a hill. Once i do a parked regen truck will run fine . I am usually getting SPN 4364 Aftertreatment 1 SCR conversion efficiency, SPN -5246 Aftertreatment SCR Operator inducement severity and SPN -3364 Aftertreatment 1 diesel exhaust fluid tank quality. Sometimes i will go for days without issues if driving on flat terrain and light loads. I have been experiencing this for the last 4 months. The DPF FILTERS ,NOX SENSORS,DEF INJECTOR ,DOSER / 7TH INJECTOR were replaced less than 100,000 miles ago. Thanks in advance.

I was dealing with nox efficiency codes, I ended up replacing all the sensors on the one box, new one box wire harness and room the whole one box out and had it cleaned along with the filters

ACM 5200355 20 fault code..? What should i do? 21 cascadia dd15 Came on after i left truck running high idle and filled DEF…? coincidence?

Hi Pedro Why whenI do regen I have 0.60 - 0.70 of efficiency. But when I do SCR efficiency test I have 0.98 of efficiency? I have read that if you have GHG17 you need to follow the efficiency on Ly on SCR

@@jorgefacio690 I agree. I believe the One Box should last as long as an engine should. The fact that they fail with such low mileage is a crime.

@jorgefacio690 my guess would be to make sure your truck isn't burning oil or coolant... also having valves adjusted make sure engine/turbo are always good

My truck is doing the same thing. When regen the nox eff starts high 90-80s and drops to 60s and starts to pick up again 70-80s... what I do is force regen my truck after 2 full working days so the code doesn't come back up. I've been doing it for 3 months and the nox eff low/low def quality hasn't came back up, but I'm sure if I don't force regen then the code could come back... new nox sensors too... so maybe bad one-box?

Could be a drifted NOx sensor. You can do a low temp regen with the DEF dosing plug unplugged and I think the inlet and outlet NOx sensor sould be within 20 PPM of each other.

@@ReptoOwnsYou What I do when the SCR has failed I just buy a new outlet NOx sensor and plug it in and zip tie the other end on top of the one box. It'll work as it always has just tricks it into thinking the outlet NOx is 0. Will throw a code 3057 but won't derate. Everything else in the system has to function correctly however. This by no means is the right way but it does work until you can replace the one box.

@LittleRedsGarage I've heard of that too but I might just get another truck with a cummins not a dd13... you think cummins is a more straightforward platform since it doesn't have the "one-box" and the scr can be replaced only no need to replace whole thing...
