Many people theorize that Fiddlesticks is the demon of Fear with Nocturne being the demon of Nightmares. This would also make sense. I'll talk through Fiddlesticks in the Demacia video!

Very interesting lore, you are underrated for your production quality. The amazingness of arcane for me though was in the characters and the story they told. The bond between vander Vi and jinx and the tragic way it turned out, viktor and Jayce's brotherhood, and ekko's whole journey (my favorite charachter, can't get that french song out of my head 😭) so I don't really care where they take it next lore and location wise, but I am glad that the guy mentioned how they are going to be focusing on characters first.

I think I'd like to see a similar thing with arcane, how they showed characters throughout time like with act 1 of s1, along with that the act formula is so good they should just make it the norm for all shows imp

Great video. This will definitely be very difficult for Riot to pull off correctly as the expectations are already really high. Though as sad as it is… if we believe what Christian Linke said they are still not 100% sure where to go next so I would not expect a new show like arcane in the next 5 years.

I hope they're not rush again(Arcane s2)while telling us the story. I really want to watch it slowly, piece by piece. I'm very excited to see the next season cinematic. Yeah, there for sure is a connection between demons and black rose. In the team fight tactics mode in lol client (they have separate client for tft, but I don't play that one) they made new groups for champions and demonic champs like Elise are in the black rose group. Honestly, I feel kinda sad when I see how many people are only into Runterra, while most of the fun usually in leagues client. They made Powder, Violet (alongside Vi) and Vender champs for TFT mode (and tft changes often), how people can miss out on such a bittersweet cuteness? T_T

I was already hyped for the next season and speculating on wether they'd put their focus on noxus, ionia or Demacia. Since I myself am not all to deep into lore I really appreciate your video and the references to pieces of lore spread across so many mediums! Thanks and keep on the good work

I'm not sure that Mel would become part of the Triumvirate. I think that's Le Blanc. I suspect that after this series, Mel may end up being sort of the on coordinating things against a bigger threat. The Void, perhaps, or the Darkin.

I don't think Leblanc will be the trick. I feel like Riot doesn't like Leblanc very much, it seems like they prefer to sideline and antagonize him, as if they want to make him the major threat with the Black Rose.

Definitely folllowing Mel's story to Noxus for the next Show, but Christian Linke also mentioned BilgeWater, and That is where we will see Jinx next, so not for awhile, Christian said he wants to continue Jinx and Ekko's Story, I caught that he said Jinx not Powder. So Can not wait to see more Jinx and Ekko and interestly in the Arcane Artbook after the First ACT of Arcane Season 1 Powder was going to go to BilgeWater with the two merchants Jules and Verne and she returns after the Timeskip looking more like a pirate, it also explains Jinx's pants. So I do not think Lux will be meeting Jinx, much to the Light-canon fans dismay. Even though I like the Star Guardian Lux and Jinx Dynamic, sorry The Jinx Ekko Timebomb story is just so good. They already have built great chemistry with the character's writing between the two of them, TimeBomb has got popular in Asia too. Won't be seeing Jinx and Ekko too soon, but Christian Linke kind of let it sip that even though Jinx's Fate is Unknown. She is Alive heading over an Ocean. My Money BilgeWater if the Arcane Artbook was right about the hints on the Map. A Big Heart around BilgeWater

I'm expecting vladimir will be in it a lot and also be revealed to be responsible for kinos death and there may be a whole Leblanc/Vladimir/Mel interactions and fighting. I'm wondering if they will link in darkin weapons too. Also suspecting Mel's power could be solari as its golden and shielding power, leading me to believe the father of Mel who ambessa had an affair with could possibly be Atreus/Pantheon, though that may be a stretch :') Edit: Maybe not, just remembered she is described as an empath attuned to the ethereal.

I dont remember if this is the right vid. but you talked about the timeline. i Believe by arcanes timeline Noxus has the 3 rulers. because Ambessa is training Cait and talks about the 3 principles.. Vision, Might, Guile So i believe the 3 are already in place by arcanes time

I think you should consider Riven atleast as a sidecharacter because she is the perfect vessel to show the dark side of Noxus and it makes sense if you want to show the person who kicked of Yasous and Yones story in Ionia if you want to tell it

So, I rather think we're seeing several parallel developments. Only this time they don't involve Piltover and Zaun and multiple storylines there (Heimerdinger/Ekko, Jayce/Viktor etc), but Mel in Noxus, something in the other regions at the same time (and hopefully Jinx as a pirate too 😹) and then these plot threads end in a cross-country event.

​@entgrove I think people just find that the most narratively satisfying place for her to go. It's full of vagabonds who carve out their own niches in the underworld. Feels like somewhere she would fit in, compared to the rigid structure of Demacia or Noxus who attacked her country so it would be weird for her to go there. She could go to Ionia but it just doesn't fit the jinx vibe.

@@entgrove the creators mentioned that in an earlier draft for season 1, between the events of act 1 and 2, there was a subplot where Jinx travelled to Bilgewater with a few of Silco's men for some trade deal affairs. They decided to leave it out in the end. It way more sense for them to re-enable that idea instead of making Jinx go to some far away unfamiliar place like Demacia

@@jlinus7251 if the creators ever want to reintroduce Jinx into the continuity in a meaningful way, her going to Bilgewater would be the most intelligent thing to do. Plus it's a place she has the most realistic chances of traveling to, compared to all the other places

​​@@entgrove In the arcane artbook that came out this month, they talk about their original draft for episode 1x3 and 1x4, Powder was supposed to travel in an airship to Bilgewater and then return as Jinx a few years later. This was before Silco was created. There is plenty Bilgewater imagery in the show already, we see quite a lot Bilgewater architecture and money in Zaun, so it's save to say Bilgewater was on their mind a lot when creating arcane. There is also a Runterra map that was uploaded a few years ago by an official Legends of Runeterra account, the map is drawn on by Jinx and she drew a heartshape on top of Bilgewater, it's not proof that we will see her there for a Arcane sequel, but it at least confirms that Riot put thought into what kind of places Jinx would travel to and what she thinks of them!

What I don't understand is why the Black Rose hides their motives? After all, if they want to fight "a greater evil", removing them from power might be a bad thing. I hope the Black Rose is well used and they don't serve as stupid antagonists, they need depth.

I think we will get a lot of black rose depth in the next arcane series/movie if Noxus is the focus. They added depth to jinx and Vi who where pretty superficial going into Arcane. Honestly Arcane saved Jinx’s character imo

Fiddlesticks literally the Ancient Fear there's no theory to that, its title is literally Fiddlesticks, The Ancient Fear. It first appear in the first scream of Creation. Fiddle obviously the First of Ten which means the very first. And to top it all of here's a quote from Lovecraft himself "The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown." Which is literally Fiddlesticks itself, it's shrouded in Mystery. Especially the keys it is Unknown what the keys is all about

It might be just me but I dont feel as interested in Noxus’s lore and might not really be interested in watching the next series after Arcane. I wouldn’t know until it comes out but its kinda way less interesting with most of the lore of Noxus just being wars and killing, compared to the really deep complex lore of Piltover and Zaun with all the magic and hextech.

Zaun and Piltover had some of the weakest lore imo before Arcane. If we are going to noxus the writers are going to add alot of context and story. Right now, like Piltover and Zaun, we only have the base lore of characters and a few stories. Nothing like Arcane. The only place with outright amazing lore without needing anything added (although I would still want there to be) imo is the Freljord. Runeterra is growing!

Mel’s fate is already sealed. During the training duel between Caitlyn and Ambessa, her mother explains the three core principles of Noxian power: vision, might, and guile. She also reveals a fourth and more important pillar-self-sacrifice. This implies that by the end of the Noxus spin-off, Mel might sacrifice her life, freedom, or something deeply important to her to stop a major threat. This mirrors Jayce’s story. There’s even a chance the series will show Mel and Jayce reuniting in some other realm after her sacrifice.
