NP300/D23 vs D22 Nissan Navara | The NP300's Maiden Voyage | Perth Offroad Tracks.
This was the first proper off-road trip in my new NP300, so we decided to hit up the Mundaring Powerlines just east of Perth, Western Australia.
This video shows a comparison of the D22 Nissan Navara and D23/NP300 Nissan Navara. Below is the specs:
Mud Tyres - both running the same size and brand wheels/rims and tyres
both running similar lift sizes
the D23/NP300 has a factory rear locker.

great video, really shows what difference having someone spotting for you makes. It really shows what a difference just a slight line adjustment can make when you have a mate looking on and can see what’s happening from a different perspective. Thanks for putting this together.

Would recommend taking out the front sway bar in the np300, they drive 100 x nicer on and offroad

What year , engine & model is the D22, she goes alright for an old girl. I would be putting some rock sliders on both vehicles if you're going to do a fair bit of rock climbing. The D23 has the advantage in height with the coil suspension, what mods have you guys done to the vehicles.

Hey mate, yeah she goes well. Unfortunately don’t have the details on it as it’s not my vehicle but it has the same size tyres as mine and a 2 inch lift kit 👍

its a 3 litre diesel (zd30)

@@metsmokers1354 Thanks mate, that's the same engine as the Patrol ZD30 has I believe, I was more interested in the D22. My old 1999 D22 Navara has a 3.2 Litre Diesel but I know their come out with a few different engine configurations.

@@CaptainBax yeah the zd30’s are known to have a lot more issues than the yd25’s as the zd30 is an older motor but has more power

Cheers mate! Can’t remember the size exactly but they’re about a 32 inch. The brand is Maxtrek Mudtrac and the D22 is running the exact same size & brand
