@@someperson7277 In my own opinion, Infinite Warfare lacked only in the multiplayer part. The campaign was so excellent for a futuristic COD and on the other hand BO3 made it work in MP AND campaign in terms of gameplay.

Yeah, I noticed that too, but probably my most favorite part was at 0:49 when that SDF soldier used a droid for cover. Reminds me of that one scene from CHAPPIE.

COD has always had very good AI, at least in the campaigns.

Older CODs do have good AI in multiplayer, I'd say it's since MW2019 that they started to make worse versions.

Same. Infinite warfare is one of my top 10 sci-fi aesthetic of all time. I just like the simplicity of it. Just some guys with futuristic military gear fighting around the soler system.

I don't even feel it's generic scifi shooter, it has at least more straight forward campaign comparing to Black Ops 3, and the control is smooth and responsive just like all CoDs do, it can't be the Titanfall ripoff but pretty playable. It is the only two CoDs that feature side missions (another is BocW, both two are good), and the space shooter levels is of Star Wars height, never gets boring. Only earth levels are of too small numbers, and it's not a copy and paste to previous games

Speaking about Multiplayer: Infinity Ward really went all out with the AI bots for both COD Ghosts and Infinite Warfare. Not only the AI is smart and use streaks, they also use "Pay to Win" weapons. And best part? Bots supported across Every Single GameMode! Sadly, they made a downgraded version of them in both MW2019 and MW II. I didn't play MW II myself but in MW2019 the AI NEVER use a streak, not supported in all gamemodes (I wanted to ply Ground War with AI SO MUCH!), and are limited to 6v6 ONLY! They REAAALLLLY wanted to push everyone to play online which I am not good at. Bots are the only way for me to enjoy MP as much I enjoy the campaigns. Good thing I found out about a bug that allows me to play 10v10 with AI on PS4. Oh yearh, think you can do a match with AI in older CODs for PC using mods? Like MW2 and 3. Or even better, COD4 and WAW allows for 16v16!

I really hope they will add bot support to Invasion/ground war. Everytime game updates I still desperately check private match option too see if it's there. If they can do warzone private match Invasion/Ground war should definitely possible but they would have to give bots ability to drive cars, tanks helis plus use streaks, also use turrets and get in passenger seats. I don't think they would commit to that but I was not expecting an Invasion mode in MWII in the first place so I will still expect private match for Invasion/Ground War.

@@NPCUniverse After I saw how Infinity Ward treated multiplayer for MW II, I won't get my hopes for this to be honest. They are intentionally refuse to listen, with managing to keep releasing broken updates. Not only that, but it even took from Treyarch itself to reach for IW about the UAV bug that has been around for like 6 months. I don't even understand what is happening with this studio anymore.

I hated this game when it came out. But now in retrospective i think this might have been the best CoD released for the whole PS4/XboxOne gen of consoles. It had the most ambitious campaign at least. And really good Zombies mode. It's just at the time it was released everyone was tired of the sci-fi jet pack CoD's. After AW, and BO3 everyone was tired of that style of game and wanted a more classic CoD like MW2. I think that's why it got so much hate.

Now I kinda want to see one with their weapons suppressed in the mission "Operation Taken Dagger" and/or "Operation Burn Water" Tracers and muzzle flashes won't be visible because of the suppressors, making it cleaner, and it tends to make it more interesting seeing the combat, for me anyway

I have Invasion and Special Ops NPC videos but I don't have videos from campaign. In MW2 2022 there isn't dynamic set piece battles like in this video where fallen NPC gets replaced by the game. In the final mission with ghost team if they die you don't get backup friendly AI, same as prison mission with Vaqueros. I've tried first mission but pretty much every NPC is scripted so they can't die. MW19 had more dynamic battles like previous cods.

I wonder if the settings are intentional. Ala, you're playing as the UNSA, so their AI NPCS can't be as good as the Martian/enemy AI otherwise they wouldn't need you (the player). Otherwise you could simply turtle in missions that have friendly AI NPCs and just let them win.

The guys in the more advanced looking armour and uniforms are the Settlement Defense Front, you can tell by their predator-like mouth pieces over their helmet visor, and the high collars when they have no helmet. The guys with the more 'nowadays/modern' look are the UNSA, you can specifically tell who they are by their German and American flag patches.

It’s a shame the world-building and lore of infinite warfare is so lackluster and half baked. The aesthetic of the world is really cool looking, like a more militaristic version of what Bethesda is doing with nasapunk in Starfield.
