I must say i am really grateful for this episode as we ladakhis have been dreaming of NPD since very long .... I salute to BRO and respect to all those outsource migrant labourer mostly from Dumka Jharkhand survive and work in such adverse condition.... altitude , weather , dust , minimum resources, oxygen , food , clothing and amount of risk working in digging mountains. @Kns6132 i asked col gulia, chief engineer, project yojak, who is featured in part 3. his reply: So many you tubers are commuting already Last year we carried out rescue for even foreigners. We dont let civilians travel towards uncut stretch to avoid any injury/casualities.

When I went to Spiti Valley in 2015, I was told that not many venture towards that direction as the roads are excruciating and there is a lot of scrutiny as the area is sensitive, although locals were always very welcoming. It's good to know things have changed this rapidly ... looking forward to another trip soon whenever I am back in 🇮🇳

BRO needs to up their game. Quality of Chinese infra along LOC is 100 times better than ours. Almost ever BRO road washes away after winter. BRO roads lack support embackments, drainage and anti rubble nets. Most BRO road are in perpetual repair mode.

BRO builds roads but in several stretches, especially on feeder and tertiary roads, why won’t they finish the job and paint proper lane markings, put in modern signage, etc. Seems like they do half the job and leave it unfinished. Look at how Chinese roads are made, consistently across the entire stretch for example.

None of the engineers recruited through UPSC ESE and SSC JE in BRO are interviewed. Many of them are from IIT NIT and other engineering college. They have more knowledge ( theoretical + practical ) and experience than those you interviewed.
