NPPA Conference 2024| Inaugural Session & Keynote Lecture| Prof. Manas Kumar Mandal (IIT Kharagpur)

Prof. Manas Kumar Mandal delivered the opening keynote at the 2nd International Conference on Positive Psychology hosted by NPPA. Prof. Vimala Veeraraghavan, president of NPPA, gave the presidential address, and Prof. Kamlesh Singh, the secretary, delivered the welcome note.
About NPPA
National Positive Psychology Association (NPPA) was established in the year 2013 with the aim to bring together Indian academicians, researchers, practitioners and students who are interested in the field of Positive Psychology. The vision of NPPA is to explore the fields of positive psychology constructs globally (West & East especially India) with respect to teaching and research and integrate the positive psychology activities in the country.
NPPA’s mission is:
• To provide a platform of interaction among researchers, teachers, students, and practitioners of positive psychology in India.
• To provide, psychological tests which have been developed, translated and adapted in India
• To share the findings of positive psychology with a larger segment of people in India.
NPPA Conference 2024
The 2nd International Conference on Positive Psychology was organized by the National Positive Psychology Association (NPPA) on 19th & 20th April 2024. The conference witnessed a global community of thought leaders, experts, and enthusiasts as they delved into the transformative realm of Positive Psychology. The theme for the 2024 conference was: ‘Positive Psychology in Action’.
Positive Psychology has revolutionized our understanding of human behaviour by drawing attention to those endeavours that strengthen the innate capacities of individuals. National Positive Psychology Association (NPPA) in India aims to explore such strengths and human potential and to cater to both the scientific community as well as the general public. This conference focused on an application-oriented exploration of Positive Psychological research.
