Super musically inclined and their lyrics are beautiful. They're one of the few bands these days where I can feel the passion and heart felt vibes through their music! Can't wait to see them play again.

This band will be remembered for decades to come. Completely unique, somehow avoiding all the cliches that make music sound generic and soulless. It’s like hearing Fleetwood Mac for the first time.

I agree, not overall their best showcase. I recently saw them in Charlotte and they sounded so good. My wife has always been a huge fan, but I never listened. I was very impressed which is why this was a bit surprising because from the first song on I felt this was not close to what I had heard. Charity almost tore the roof off the place in her sole during Rivers. They are a great band can't wait to see them again.

I used to adore this band. It has nothing to do with them or their music as to why they have fallen a bit out of favor with me. There’s a great deal of pain in the memories I have attached to them, particularly in the two times I saw them live at Red Rocks. Masterful and majestic shows. I miss them.

What a shame that the band does not have Josiah anymore. They had a CSN like quality to them with McCartney-esque melodies, which made them so unique. Charity had a unique voice although challenged. Now they are a shell of what they were.

Love this band. One question though. How does it work when they sing songs Josiah wrote? Does he still get a % of the check from the show? And what about any instruments/equipment he bought to use in the band? Does he forfeit them or take it with him? Maybe I'm ignorant to how being in a famous band works but I'd like to learn. Hope Josiah is doing okay. He had great writing skills and an even better voice. Also hope they are still all pals.

Phew, The Head and the Heart is one of my favorite bands of all time but looks like it's time to turn down Charity's mic. Or get her to sing better (not so nasally and Yoko Ono-esque) and actually get the harmonies. It's becoming unbearable, and believe me I'm a huge fan and support them. My experience with seeing them live has been nothing but positive but it's starting to show through. That said, there plenty of awesome moments in this vid and it is overall a great experience. Will always be a fan, even through the ups and downs!
@danman66697 жыл бұрын
She sings MUCH better than Yoko. Yoko is a joke.
@nathanchelf40117 жыл бұрын
That I can agree with completely. But I know not many people are fans of the shrill shrieks and sometimes missed attempts at signing

I've never seen them live and was watching this to see if I wanted to. I've always liked their music but her singing made me decide not to go see them. So, that being said, I appreciate your comment and will seriously reconsider. Maybe she was having an off night here.

@deeplyrooted29985 жыл бұрын
Charity's vocals are not the norm....doesn't even resemble the Doe Bay event. Disappointing in vocals, especially in a studio setting
The electric Jon uses for Another Story is a '76 Guild Starfire. The Acoustic guitar that Jon uses for Lost in my Mind is Guild D-55 and has appeared in many videos of theirs. The electric Jon uses in City of Angel's is a fender but I'm not sure what style. First time I've seen them use that one but it's awesome. Maybe similar to a bluebird? As for Ricky's guitars I have no clue. Hes new.

I just learned of this band's music because their song "Signs Of Light" at the end of the film FREAK SHOW really grabbed my heart. I like this band a lot, but the female vocal at the top is consistently FLAT and not in chorus with the rest of the voices. It sounds like she's drunk and somewhere she can't see the rest of the bandmates.

@simbalbi7 жыл бұрын
in other live performances of the past they played so much better! It's really a pity, as they are usually so harmonic and joyful... in this case (and in the last few recent live performance), they played awfully, or more specifically, Charity (if the blond one is named so), is truly out of control of her voice, and manages to ruin too many songs. don't want to be hostile, but it's really a big evidence the group must deal with and get a solution for...
@ambotak995 жыл бұрын
simone balbi i believe that the absence of josiah had a huge impact. Sometimes when I play music, it has to be with the right person because if I play with someone I dont feel connected with, it just doesnt feel right :(

I really don't mean to be contentious, but I had to respond to this. Charity is perfectly in key, and she sings very well. You might not understand harmony, which is why her vocals sound incorrect to you. She is a great singer/musician.
@NathanDowdyMedia6 жыл бұрын
She's struggling a lot with pitch issues throughout the entire performance. She's a good vocalist, so maybe she couldn't hear herself or was struggling with sickness, but this was decidedly bad.

Charity seems to have packed on some weight since the first album. It really shows on her face. I wonder if it's genetic or she really likes to eat. Women seem to have a harder time keeping weight off more than men, at least from my experience. If she's comfortable with that, good for her.
