to all of the haters commenting..... Getting a life outside of the internet is quite easy, not too mention better for the human soul. Leon is from my hometown and he represents with true Texas class and style. how anyone can be hating on Leon, baffles the mind! I believe he has a wise soul. his taste in vintage clothing is better than sliced bread. his mama holds her head up high with a smile as big as this fine state we live in. she made no mistakes as a parent in my eyes. lol! He is everything that is good in a man, with a golden voice, and lyrically gifted. he has a great head on his shoulders. Since his, literally overnight, fame happened, he seems to remain humble. if we all tried to be even half the person he has grown to be, we'd be living in a kinder society than what the haters here promote. that would be a great thing!

just listened to The River for the unpteenth time, backing up to 13:01 over and over, carries me away. Would be blessed to have a flowing 30 minute version that I could close my eyes to

I know right? For me too.. I remember discovering the song (and Leon) in Big Little Lies (which has an amazing soundtrack) and crying .. The song was also sung in an amazing play I saw two years ago.. I was sitting there in public singing along and crying again.. I remember that moment vividly..

Can't believe he's almost 30, looks like a teenager but with such an old soul, I absolutely love him !!

I love Leon Bridges music! Fell in love with him when I first heard his song "River" as a kid and I obsessed over it because in my mind it was a song about my name lol my friends and sisters would be like "You really think this man you've never met wrote a song just for you?" 😖

I mean there is the world in shambles at any day of the week and then there is healing from this man's voice. I'm from Southern Louisiana and we need more artists like this....

Going to see this man at Summerfest Milwaukee tonight, my girlfriend has to work and can’t come along.. I’ve never heard his music before but I’m loving this performance and just knowing I’ll be watching him live without the company of my woman is just breaking my heart!!! Love is life life is love.
