I love this show! 5 episodes in and every one just gets better and better.I love the fact that this is an up tempo show and not another mono tone gun owner droning on with facts out of the countless manuals we have all memorized. The different segments come together perfectly with a mix of information, opinion and fun to draw you in deeper and deeper. Its the kind of show that you could watch over and over(which I do). I anticipate every new episode like a little kid does presents on Christmas eve. You two are amazing, keep up the good work Great job Colion and Amy.

I like your last bit there comparing rolling a cigar to hand loading ammo. I have been hand loading for a year now and I can say that I really enjoy hand loading my ammo. There's a sense of pride when you go to the range and fire rounds you loaded to what you and your weapon like.

I absolutely LOVE the segment on Cigar smoking. Although, I am a proud bodybuilder, who eats organic and is careful about what I am doing with my body, I DO love the occasional Hoyo de Monterey Excalibur #3 maduro or Sosa Governor Maduro. Nice to see it Colion and you are so right about the nature of a cigar lounge and just how relaxed and mellow it can be in our hectic lives.

I never smoke but I have to say that I almost was ready to go to the Havana Social Club for a nice cigar because Mr. Colion Noir made it look good. I have shot a number of rifles, shotguns and handguns, but had never shot an AR. My dad was into the old style rifle with wood stock and bolt action, so they were not available. My first shot of an AR was one I built myself. This allowed me to purchase exactly the components that I wanted, and also to not have to slap all that cash down at one time. After building an AR, I now know more about them than most of the people I know that have shot them for years. The construction of the rifle was also an extension of the hobby - kind of like reloading is. Yay also for the cigars.. I am definitely an aficionado.

Being a non-smoker, my first reaction to the cigar segment was, "why is he promoting that?". But then I think of anti-gunners and saying the same thing about my guns. So I take that thought back, and I hope everyone enjoys the freedoms we (still) have in this country!

When bringing an anti gunner or even someone just leery and unfamiliar, I try to make it fun as well as safe. I noticed the second time I took my Mom to the range, she wasn't as leery or skittish of the recoil and noise, but she seemed bored. So the next time I reset the targets I threw an old piece of 2x4 onto the berm and told her to shoot the wood. The reactive target was much more fun than putting holes in paper and I feel she had a better time and her accuracy improved. She is pretty good with a 1911.

the way you feel about the musket, is the way we Skandinavian and germans feel about the Mauser, a weapon used to fight for our freedom and what we believed in. But not only that a Mauser Kar98k is a beautiful piece of history, all the scratch marks, and all its "Inperfections" gives it personality and if you put that side by side, with a AG3 [AG3 is the Norwegian version of the HK G3] it makes the AG3 look like a cold piece of metal

Why ban high capacity magazines? We still limit car speeds but make them be able to go much higher. Why? Because if you ever need it, it's there. It depends on the operator. Everything depends on the operator. Thank you.
@TheRelativeUnknown10 жыл бұрын
The SPU shooter had to reload and thats when he got tackled. Thats why. If he had a high capacity magazine he would have killed more than one.
@ChucksSEADnDEAD10 жыл бұрын
The Lone Voice I know someone already said it, but he used a shotgun. Look, by your logic all a shooter needs is taking two guns to shoot anyone charging him during a reload. Or tape two magazines together. Or weld two magazines into a bigger one. It's a freaking box, a baseplate, follower and a spring. Anyone can modify them.
@TheRelativeUnknown10 жыл бұрын
Filipe Amaral But you have to admit that would make things a little more difficult right? Whether he had a shotgun or not, the fact that he didn't have a weapon with those kinds of capabilities probably saved a few lives.
@TheRelativeUnknown10 жыл бұрын
collin ohlinger So you are saying lets not ban high capacity because you 'honestly' feel like it wouldn't have made a difference? Lets give people as much ammo as they need to mow down a dozen people. No concessions at all on your part right?
@ChucksSEADnDEAD10 жыл бұрын
The Lone Voice Admit that it would make it more difficult? Why? If we're pitting those sickos against unarmed people, they always "win". We'll throw a celebration in the form of 24/7 media coverage and worship his image by quoting his statements, showing off his manifestos, backtracking archived footage to show that time his right hand appeared on film during a table tennis competition. Imagining that I would enter a place to shoot it up, it wouldn't make a difference which kind of weapon you gave me if the people in there were unarmed. If you gave me a musket, I'd probably use some paper and white glue to attempt to make pre-loaded shells to allow me to fire faster, fill them with buckshot to hit more people. Check out Tacome1942 on youtube, he made fake shells for his paper shotgun, with the proper diameter those could be easily shoved down a musket barrel preloaded with projectiles and propellant. These guys don't "snap", they usually have a plan. How is taping two magazines together "little more difficult"? Everyone has duct tape. www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=332164 Look, a guy made a longer magazine for his bolt action rifle. Think people can't cut the bottom off a mag and weld some plates to extend it? Or maybe a spare mag, if looks are a concern.

Just a little food for thought try one of the modern old style replicas like a circa 1855-1870 hawkens plains rifle from traditions or an 1860 colt .44 a little easier to load and shoot but still extremely beautiful. I have one of each and they become additive. My hawkens is red mahogany polished brass and patch box double trigger set rifled barrel and my colt is a walnut with steel back strap.

My girlfriend and her family were very anti-gun when we started dating. With being a police officer and a military member I wanted to teach her so she would feel safe with them around the house. When I brought her she was nervous at first but when she got going she loved it! She was so good her first time she shot a little bear for her grouping, I don't know if it was accidental or by design but she did it from 5 yards and she loves to go shooting with me even since.
