Also look into carry insurance such as USCCA, 2nd call defense, and U.S. Law shield. I use USCCA because they have great online training courses along with their carry insurance.

Protecting the 2nd Amendment is essential. Like yourself over the years I’ve head over and over again that they’re coming after our firearms. You’re right though, it feels more real now somehow. I still don’t know how they would do it, logistically, they’d almost certainly have to enlist the aid of active military. Unfortunately, I no longer have any firearms after that tragic boating accident… 👀 Stay Swoldier Strong!

NRA has some FANTASTIC training programs. But dig a little deeper in the NRA the CEO of NRA Wayne LaPierre has been under watch for using NRA funds to buy all kinds of stuff for personal use. And here lately they have not been doing much to support the 2nd amendment. Me personally I do not support the NRA because of these reasons. The NRA have been known to negotiate rights away. 2 very good hard working 2nd amendment advocate groups I support are FPC (firearms policy coalition) and GOA (gun owners of America). But yes I feel the the current people in charge of the government right now will do everything they can to keep firearms out of the hands of law abiding citizens.
