I’m a woman and a spender but I would divorce her too if I were you. My husband and I bring in decent income but I would never buy purses and shoes that are over $300. I would never throw a grand party for myself either. I rather take $10k and go on a nice vacation with my family.

I’m a big spender but also an earner. Any luxury item or vacation I want, I work OT, DT and extra shifts to cover the costs. Never dip into my regular pay or savings. I’m a nurse so it’s easy to do. A purse or a vacation to Thailand or Paris? work 4-6 extra days. It’s about balance, never live outside your means, always pay yourself (savings) before play. EDIT: I’m only posting this b’cuz I see comments about people only buying $20 purses. I prefer luxury items, however, I also work really hard for them.

It’s ok to spend a little more on purses if they are good quality and functional. I often change out my purses so I would only spend $300 or less on them. I rather put $5k towards a trip than a purse.
