Big Al totally kills it! Guitar solo on crazy like a fox is fantastic! Big man with an even bigger talent!

Still so great. Just everything about this clip is classic.

NOBODY fists a piano like Terry does. This was the line-up I first saw, and I saw them MANY times, always jaw-dropping. Terry is the only original member left, but the new young bucks he's assembled do the Q legacy proud, with the same feel and flavor. SEE THEM if you haven't, they're still kickin' ass!

Only Don Pullen and Cecil Taylor could hammer away like Terry.

Al Anderson is so underrated. So talented.

I saw this line up three times - in Atlanta, Princeton, NJ and then on New Years Eve in San Francisco (with the Whole Wheat Horns). They were off the charts each time.

Does anyone remember that Steve Ferguson and Terry Adams founded this band?
@harvey19543 ай бұрын
Joey was in from the start along with Frank and Tom Staley.

Of course, I'm 72 and from Louisville KY, where Terry and Steve were from. Seen all the iterations of the band; the Big Al years were the best. Terry has always been the most talented, charismatic goofball, ever.

Could it be that the RnRHoF is a bullshit, corporate good ol boy organization with all the integrity of Exxon/Mobil or Wall Street, where fellatio (figurative AND literal) is exchanged for favors? Please join my campaign to keep all the good bands (Q, LosLobos, The Blasters, and other bands of quality and distinction) OUT of that cesspool!
@donwan52723 жыл бұрын
@@musicofanatic Amen brother. You can add Waren Zevon and Little Feat (and many others) to that list. Somebody should start a FTRnRHoF movement (you can guess what FT means).
@docdeens40303 жыл бұрын
Why would they bother?
@kevindean13272 жыл бұрын
The R&RHOF is a joke. It's a popularity contest not something based on integrity to the music. How in the hell else could you explain Whitney Houston's inclusion? Nothing against Whitney at all RIP! But if she was Rock and Roll Bob Dylan is an opera singer!
