Princes deciding that they no longer want to be Princes doesn't exactly work out well. And why is it that American writers never get the sense of duty and service to your country that comes with being Royalty. I served in the Army because my father, grandfathers and great grandfathers served. It is no different for Royalty. I get the 1776 and all that mentality but you should be able to write the different values and standards of other cultures.
