I agree, the wall is also troll because on any A split (like at 10:10) it breaks up the crossfires the attack is creating on the guy placing backsite. Somebody playing backsite cannot hide from main AND halls at the same time but BECAUSE of the wall they can isolate A main. Viper should absolutely go mid and shoot it across stairs and yellow instead, that's so basic for any Viper player.

The long and short is basically this wall is good for A Rush. It stops people from seeing you enter from wood door and backsite. But in high elo and pro league when people need to push in from multiple angles, this wall hurts the people coming from mid because they can’t see the crossfires that are setup from door and cave. If the team is going to split, do a viper wall that goes from mid pillar, covers the door people from nest, and allows them to crossfire.

It’s a retake wall so defenders can come in from spawn semi safely and also allows viper to play of cypher trips cause she can spam behind her wall safely

Personally in my 5 stack at Ascendant, usually i always aak Viper to pre-place this wall but always have someone putting pressure into A main, usually just one person to learnt eh patterns, but we can always switch up with Sova lets say just to sell the fake a bit more. We usually also have a secondary controller since i feel at our level, people benefit more drom denying vision rather than taking info. Especially with randoms, everyone seems to be afraid to take space even with advanced info, so smokes make them feel safer. Even on defense, matchmaking is so inconsistent that everyone always seem to either fully coward behind a Viper wall or realize barely anyone takes advantage of the HP drop when running through it, so they dont respect default walls. I find Viper's wall really strong on retakes to cut off common angles people think they have access to, either to let the team work deep into a site without being seen (lets say viper walling from A stairs towards A main but blocking it, or B from mid to the bomb giving space just outside B main where you can constantly peek). Basically like a budget Astra ulti that splits the site to isolate people holding close within the site and those holding far within the site, then just have the other controller smoke the main/mid areas. Pre-nerf Viper could easily hold either of the mains with just her orb and 2 mollies, and take the orb if there's a guaranteed hit on the other side. Maybe I just hate Breeze as a matchmaking map, so doing something gimmicky but still set really works.

I'm not exactly an expert in this but the reason we don't have a replay system is because it will literally ruin the valorant servers. You will see things in delay constantly, which is what riot are trying to avoid and is the reason it takes so long.

@@MKSRKAK0 I need context on what games you are talking about. CS for example has it because there the replay system is client sided. This has the problem that it is very easy to make wall hacks, which riot also wants to avoid. Zamy(valorant content creator) had some more details about it in one of his videos if you are interested.
