Broncos played well, you can see the determination and confidence this season, their signings the last 2-3 season have been great, Walsh and Cobbo are beasts. Also the players they have kept there like Oates and Reynolds are great too. Sea Eagles just looked lost. Half of the Manly team barely get involved in the game, I think they'll be lucky to make the 8 this year.

Broncos kept up the heat and the Sea Eagles couldn’t handle it at all. Cobbo was on fire. Even @ 60% Turbo getting that offload while getting gang tackled shows you his skill. Great game to watch live!

I’d experiment with Turbo being a 5/8 to make the most of his try assists with his strength and running game. His fullback days are long gone until his full speed is back.

Thing is don't think he can go full speed any more. When Cobbo got the intercept He got faster as Turbo got slower. I have notice in other games how Turbo can be caught now when he makes a break. His running style has changed and it has taken some peace of him.

Dominant win, Broncos. Dropped off a bit in the second half but did everything they had to do. Very impressive and improved defence. Congrats on the hat trick, Cobbo. Manly were horrible in the first half. Better in the second half defensively but lacked any attacking flair or passion.

Yesterday when Cobbo intercepted the ball and scored his 3rd try, guess who was trying to chase and catch him. Yes “turbo” himself and Cobbo, without switching on his afterburners made the great “turbo” EAT HIS DUST. Guys you need to shut up about “turbo”.

I'm a Manly supporter but i must say that there are currently some serious problems at this club. Why did Scott Penn (Manly's owner) sack Des Hasler? Rugby League fans are never given reasonable answers to questions like this. Supporters are the cannon-fodder of the NRL and its clubs.

Easily the worst game of magic round and it’s only the 2nd game in. Far too one-sided and not entertaining enough, Manly barely put up a fight, they’re so far off the team that we all hated in the 70-90s era, they’ve become shocking of recent years. As for Brisbane, they’ve had a fairly soft draw as of late. Besides playing in Penrith way back in Rd1 every match they’ve played has been in QLD, bar the match in Darwin against Parramatta. 7/10 matches at Suncorp including 5 in a row from Rd2-6 which means they’ve barely had any travel time. They haven’t been tested enough beating mainly bottom tier teams including Tigers, Dragons, Cowboys and Titans. They did beat Penrith in Rd1 but the Panthers have been way off their recent form from the past 3 seasons and have been average this year with a 4-4 record thus far, when Brisbane played a top ranked team last week they got put on show. They have a decent run in the next 4 weeks playing the Storm, Panthers, Warriors and Sharks, so let’s see if they are the real deal as everyone has been saying they are because I have a funny feeling they’re going to hit a form slump just like they did last year.
