Warriors began well and I thought it would be a big win. Then they had a sloppy spell, mirrored by the sharks, and they never recovered that early game play. Sharks just did what they have done in recent years to win. Fonua-Blake had a good game, but the player of the match was Will Kennedy: brilliant in defusing the grabbers, caught the high balls and offered a strong carry in attack. Overall both teams looked as though they needed this match to get rid of rustiness.
