its bloody good Maroons lost like that.. it was a healthy reminder for Billy imo.. i dont know about other fans but many blues fans in NZ have noticed many Maroon players body language after Game 1 and the build up heading into game 2. the obvious one was the... here we go again another repeat after game 1, a confident body expression is healthy and good and it definitely helps but mixing it with expectations, we kiwi NSW fans can spot it hahaha.. and off the bat we knew if our Blues won game 2, the maroons will really feel it..hahaha, it was an awesome feeling..like a habit, dont anticipate how the blues will play before stepping on the field.. And now Billy needs more then home advantage and the teams A-Game .. hope the Blues get the win...

Likewise im a Kiwi and NSW fan. Regardless of the scoreline in game 1, I believed NSW would have been inspired by the effort that they were able to bring throughout most of that game despite being down a man. Heading into game 2 they had a few things going for them - key players returning to the squad, confidence in what they could possibly achieve with 13 men and just pure desperation. NSW will know full well the challenge that awaits them in Brisbane however it's nice to hear Coach Madge in his interviews not fall for the "mystique" of QLD's record in deciders at Suncorp. Records only mean something if you let them - mindset and attitude is what will really determine the outcome of this series. Assuming you follow Union too you'll know who Gilbert Enoka is? Coach McGuire has bought him into camp already this year. Good move. Barring injury I have no doubt that this NSW side has what it takes to deliver a positive result. More importantly they've proved to themselves in both in game 1 that they have resolve, and in game 2 what they're really capable of when they get things right. Lastly, I would hope that what I say isn't taken as overconfidence but hey. I am well aware that a wounded QLD is a dangerous QLD and that a spirited performance is to be expected at home. However, as Billy said before game 2, something to the effect of - "...we'll respect their game, but we won't disrespect ours". On to Suncorp we march 🩵💙

It's Hammer or Edwards surely, Ponga a close 3rd and Walsh Teddy shouldn't even be considered as much as i want Teddy to play

Good win, but don't get too excited. Nsw has a long way to go to beat their own mighty 21year record. Good luck lads.
