You’re comparing 1988 to 2022 The game back then to now is like apples to oranges mate, but I get your point, no matter what year, no matter who plays for this team, I swear you could put the Storm players of the past 16 years or the Panthers players of today in the Sharks jersey, the culture of this club remains the same, it’s like they have some voodoo spell cast on them. I still believe to this day that 1999 was the year that got away, they always choke in finals time, thank god for them they managed to pull it off in 2016.

@@russell3436 doesn’t matter if the game is different, of course it is and not one player or person would still exist at the club from that time. But it is something else. The club is cursed. If anything 88 was worse, they were by far the best team that year, Gavin Miller and ET, McGaw, Docking, great players.
