People tend to forget Ivan took the Warriors to a Grand Final as a Coach in 2011...and came back to Penrith, then going to the Tigers after being sacked at his first term there by Gus Gould,then coming back to Penrith and created that Dynasty...onya Ivan

An honest intelligent and unbiased analyses of the game and players. Liam Martin I think has been playing real good for the panthers but of course Nathan Isaiah and Edwards are the star players and well deserved of the previous Clive Churchill awards (except Isaiah Yeo who hasn’t got it yet) but he deserved that cc this year.

the key 2 the Panthers monopoly in the NRL ...apart from their defense is the fact that To'o , Turuva , Dylan , Tago & Alamoti are the hit-up kings ... no wonder Moses , Fish , Yeo & company have so much energy in the last 20 minutes , coz the backs do all the hit ups ...in deep Panther territory they all think their forwards ...and To'o just grinds & bumps & pumps his way up field ...almost unstoppable !! 🧐😜🤒🤒

To both of you thanks for talking about the game the way it should be spoken about! The best team club and organisation won it, again. Barely ever is it not that way. Regardless of decisions it doesn’t matter or matters very little when we can continuously keep a team where we want and need them to be during a game, we had 4 sets in the second half and 5 in the first which we repelled and Melbourne simply couldn’t get there even when they did the ref and touch judge didn’t think they did lol. Great game great performance.

Absolutely! I've said that to my mates for so long why try catching it when the downside is such a disaster for the defending side. Unless it's landing in goal let em catch it and jump on them.. No risk and you get the ball back 99 times out of 100

It has nothing to do with your how strong you are physically, that penrith system whoever goes there, they are trained mentally to be strong, never give up attitude starts with your mind, when your strong mentally you can go all he way, ivan and the coaching staff penrith system have instilled that in the playing group

Ivan gets he's team up every year ,I no he's not intense like Madge but he somehow gets he's team up to origin intensity every gf ,he would be the best option for new given how many ex Panthers will be in NSW team

Penrith forwards ran at harry grant all game. All that defending just gassed him and took away his effectiveness in attack. After all that defending, looked like he didn't have much left in the tank to make many damaging dummy half runs through the middle.

Don't forget Gus. He found the money to keep Penrith alive during the 2010s and kept the juniors together when the NRL exed the NYC in 2017.

You are way off. I believe Penrith supporters recognise both men. Ivan doesn't have to acknowledge Gus, and Gus doesn't have to acknowledge Ivan. One thing is certain, Gus Gould contributed greatly to saving the NRL in Western Sydney with the launch of pathways.

Ivan has stated publicly that he learned more about League from Gus than anybody else. He credits many people for help in his success, but he he name checks Gus in a very positive manner. Gus started the revolution at Penrith, Ivan perfected it. Gus is a misunderstood genius.
