I don’t understand why nobody mentioned the TWO Roosters who held up Hughes after he kicked throuigh the line. That was a penalty at least and a professional foul at worst. How did the Ref not call that? How did the BUNKER not call that? Tedesco’s trip on Paps was just a reflex action, sure, but as Joey said, there was some serious force in that contact and Paps could’ve been off again with a leg injury. Of course dnika’s better than Matthew Thompson. She’s gonna be better than anyone else they could’ve had there, every day.

I’m a Yank, so this league thing is all a bit of a mystery to me, but didn’t the Dolphins also play in Darwin, and didn’t they also play in the same weather as the Eels? What am I missing here?

Dolphins play out of Brisbane which is similar to the climate in Darwin but IMO it shouldn’t have made such a big difference

@@haces348 If Darwin is no different from Brisbane (and my understanding is that Darwin is significantly more humid), then why is anyone even talking about the difficulty of playing in Darwin? Regardless, both teams had to play in the same conditions, and apparently, according to some, one team was completely debilitated by the heat and humidity, and the other was hardly affected at all. At least that seems to be the excuse.
