Yes we have alot of trades but to save trades you need to do them one at a time. For now im still keen to gamble on iongi and hopfully save an early trade that way... Of course it could all go horribly wrong and im in that aforementioned hole

I really wish NRL SC would have price changes from Round 1 like BBL, so people that take risks on players like Iongi are rewarded... rather than just playing it safe with Turbo then switching to Iongi before Rd 3 if you get it wrong

NRL Fantasy has this. Worth giving it a go! Not a bad game imo. Different scoring and strategy

There's no doubt if this was the case then ilongi's ownership would be higher. For me if you haven't got 3 gun fullbacks then you are not playing seriously, as there is really very low downside as worse case as you say you go to ilongi so you do not miss any cash rises, plus you get to choose 3 fullbacks and drop one later, than having to get the correct 2 at the start of the season, plus when/if you diwngrade to ilongi you have the funds to get in ANY player in any position; those who start with ilongi will not have the money to be in this position to upgrade so significantly to an in form gun with a bigger role than we expected.

Yeah it's complete bullshit. You can't be a proper SUPERCOACH if you get the opportunity to downgrade free of charge before round 3. Supercoaches who pick latrell, turbo, and ponga should be made to suffer for their choices if they don't back their price up.

Plus they need better analysis of each player. IV seen David Fifita pick ball up from 40 metres out at dummy half run through 5 people and plant the ball down and get 75 points for 1 play. I also saw Moses leota do same thing but from 30 metres out and get 30 points. The scoring is rigged for the superstar. If Tedesco and longi run from own tryline this year and score try longi will get 50 points and teddy 900

My take: Iongi will make way more than 40, most people who take 3 guns at FLB will trade him out in r3 and you aren’t wasting one trade, you are wasting two. Save that money and grab a gun elsewhere.

Make a team with Iongi and without. I think you need to consider also the other players you need to facilitate a third gun fullback. For example I could run Iongi, Ola, Plath, Cleary VS Mitchell, Finefeuiaki, S.Fainu, Luai. Just wanted to highlight another consideration for running a third gun fullback.

100% this. They keep comparing Iongi on his own to 3rd gun like Latrell etc. Obviously that gun should outscore him But something using their team reveals is like Hynes + Iongi is 200k cheaper than Dodd + 3rd gun

I always think people read way too much into early byes and avoid picking good players as a result 🤷‍♂️ like people avoiding Titans or Storm guys cause of the bye, but also have no issue picking metcalf or Ponga who have rd4/rd5 byes which is essentially the same thing 🤷‍♂️ whoever you replace them with that round could score like 50 anyway and its fine unless you just have zero depth for some reason. Personally i have no issues picking Tino or Grant etc and kinda hope people stay away and waste trades later on getting them. Gotta deal with byes at some stage for everyone. But Personally anyway i don't let a bye mean i pick a lesser option for me just because of 1 round, especially when it comes to potential keepers in particular

Sobey? I'm taking a flyer on Manly's deaw and finally a fully fit Turbo and get Jason Saab!!! It's risky and the play would be for points and cash and upgrade to another middy with better nase, like Mahzhew post bye, or a gun.

You guys need to stop thinking Iongi v Gun fullback you take instead of him and look at instead elsewhere as the The gun fullback you take and the cheapie you took instead of Iongi v Iongi and the gun player they took instead of you gun fullback. I.e it’s not Iongi v Drinkwater It’s Iongi and Garrick v Ponga and whatever CTW cheapie you took. And with flex you don’t have to drop a gun and Iongi to get to a gun fullback you can just drop Iongi to a cheapie that did fire.

My concerns with Iongi is the team he plays for. Also having Bulldogs, Sea Eagles, and Storms in first 4 games does not look good for the Eels. I think is better spend more money and downgrade if needed it.
