A mixture of speed, agility, power, skill and footy IQ that shouldn't exist in 1 player. A marvel and joy to watch

@1:00 will always be my favourite. Cronk's timing and precision plus Billy's positioning and the step. Pulled it off on grand final day!

Before I went to the minute-mark, I knew EXACTLY the play. That moment is burned into my memory - Perfect execution.

@@SirAaron29 15 year earlier, Allan Langer did these moves repetitively to his 2nd rowers (to Gillmeister and Cann) to score tries at will - so I'm used to it. But Billy is the greatest fullback.

Plays fullbacks so tackling doesn’t matter as opposed to when you’re in the line, he’s made heaps of try saving tackles so not sure what you’re on about

@@HG-sl2ur "try saving tackles" that's not what you defy an tackling ability, most try savers are putting full body weight to support the ball from touching the ground, or where you come from behind and take them down
@junglelifelurefishingadven89182 жыл бұрын
@@toiletsmithy3630 a Try saving tackle is still a tackle tho, I'd argue that it's more important than a standard midfield tackle.
@HG-sl2ur2 жыл бұрын
@lllllllclearly you’re a fool and can’t read the full thing. A fullback having to tackle someone flying at pace in a 67 metre wide radius shouldn’t matter. He’d only be covering for someone else who couldn’t do their job. If he makes the hardest tackle in the game that you can’t make majority of the time unless they run into you it’s a bonus. Can’t fathom why people expect fullbacks to be tackling machines it’s absurd.
