I'm English and I've only seen snippets of Origin games before. Then I had an epiphany...'state of origin full games' KZbin. Amazing. I'll watch them chronologically, great to see Big Mal again first up. Fights, blood, high tackles, continuous play, man I miss the 90's. Too good you Aussies 👊👍

Yeah, I got to grow up watching these classic games, still so many great memories. State of origin is on tonight and I can't wait, so I'm watching a few old games to get in the mood👍👊😂

Would love to see Adrian Morley or Sam Burgess in Origin. Preferably in a NSW jersey

This game was full of legends, Lewis, Meninga, Stuart, Geyer, Elias, Roache, Lyons, Roberts, Clyde, Gee, Coin,Hancock, Bella, Mcgaw.... Back when the game was full of Characters and games were memorable

@J G Soccer is popular because it is simple. In my opinion its deeply boring. And way too much mincing about. I used to watch the soccer world cups but the last one was so tedious that I wont be doing that again.

15:34 Carne was behind the kicker some 2 to 3 metres, 42:28 Maninga was just behind the kicker. On both occasions Stirlo was like, "they were definately in front"😁 He had his blue goggles on in the commentary box. Awesome origin game.

O’Connor’s tackle in the last minute on a rampaging Meninga (after his kick to win it) is huge. Worth a watch - definitely an overlooked moment. Classy player, even in defence.

16:50 - great defence by the Blues! 24:12 - Geyer shoulder charge!

see how they still packed the scrum while Hancock was down if that was today. we would have stopped the game for 10 mins while he was taken off. sin binned Geyer then finally packed the scrum after everyone had a rest for 10 mins

I’m a hardened QLDer but being objective that was a good hit. Mick Hancock was stunned and was as tough as nails.

I will remember forever that conversion from Michael O'Connor. Everything was on the line. It was raining hard but he managed to kick it in beautifully. Almost a miracle. What a hero.

greatest origin game in history that had everything!!! greatest series ever too!! and I am a blues fan and we lost it. they don't make them like this anymore Handcock being knocked out and the scrum still packing while he was down LOL today they would stop the game for 15 mins and have him taken off the field while we sat around waiting for the scrum. oh and Geyer would have been sin binned for a shoulder charge

100%. Apart from MG, Sparkles and Snoz stepping up I just loved the brutal hits NSW put on in the 1st half. Never get tired of watching Roberts, Gillespie and the gang snap Qlders in half.

my introduction to following State of Origin was 1990 and 1991 . The Lewis - Geyer tussle was awesome . Im a NZer , I love the Warriors and Im an avid NSW fan , the 1990's were halycon days indeed

Just loving these replays. This one was just pure insanity - NRL at its best. Now that's how you play football. Makes AFL look like a bunch of fairies. (No offence to fairies) :0)
