I’m listening to this again after Origin and everything Gus said came true. Obviously the send off altered things in an extreme way but he nailed everything from team selection philosophy from the Queenslanders, to reasonings as to why Nicho might not have been the best pick considering how vital it is to train combinations in the lead up. He even picked out all the stars of the match. Please Gus, coach the team again. Even it’s just picking the team and setting an interchange plan and leaving it to Ivan for him to pick up some mid week cash. Please save us Gus!

I feel good about the Blues; they are better coached + workers, but more than that, they are physically dominant. Madge has flipped the script; underestimate this team, just do: NSW 30-10 winners; they will physically overwhelm the Queenslanders, watch a repeat of Aussies being overwhelmed by the Kiwis late last year.

I can see Nsws getting the rub of the green when it comes yo penalties and 6 agains. It always happens in Sydney. That will open the door for quick play the balls whilst queensland is back pedalling. That opens the door for Luai and Angus Chrichton in Queenslands red zone. I don't think its as doom and gloom as Gus is making out.
