One of the greatest series ever. Game 1 was excellent, game 2 was calculated and this game 3 was all out 🔥🔥🔥 Ben Hunt had a redemption moment & it was happy to see, Dearden was gun out there, shutting down Teddy every time he came his way, definitely one for the future. It was a shame to see cobbo go early, really wanted him out there to be apart of that atmosphere. He would of scored instead of Gagai being out of position 😅

Dude to tell you the truth I think we won because cobbo wasn't playing dudes terrible at defending and can't mark his man and not just that dane gai gai too it was silly too put them in 1 side to begin with cause there was one winger and centre side more solid then the other but other then that I'm pretty happy go Queensland!

His defending does let him down but he’ll gain that experience and grow with it, Gagai’s defence is mid too so it’s hard for Cobbo to really play off him. Cobbo plays well off of Staggs because Staggs is such a great defender. But yes, having an under strength winger with a mid defender on one side is pretty silly lol

How good is Billy Slater the coach, what a great transition. So well spoken and articulate but his assertiveness and intent was in display on the field and this interview. Queensland are in good hands, when you can get this weakened team to bond that well and come back to win it.

I’ve watched NRL since i was 7 (in 2007), watched every origin since 2009, every year, Qld hard. But this year had so many injuries and I had my doubts. Game 1 was amazing, many clutch plays. But, Game 3, 2022 was the greatest match I’ve ever seen. I could easily re-watch the entire game again, legendary stuff man. The first 15 minutes were brutal holysh*t

Once again Cleary showed that he can only play when everything goes his way. When the other side plays well he looks more like mitchell Pearce than Andrew johns. All series I’ve criticised DCE but he played his best game last night and his leadership finally stood up.

True DCE is under rated, he has smarts to Kick the ball early out of his half union style to make the other side attack from their half and probably make mistakes as they were behind under pressure. He read the situation well. Origin comes down to small mistakes and he was putting the pressure on the other side.

Imo, n I’m blue through and through, both Cleary and Luai whilst good club players...... are unable to go to that next level. players like Daly, Johns, Sterlo, Fittler, Kenny they could all go up another level and turn games....... The aforementioned players would run rings around Luai and Cleary ........ Dearden on debut did it tonight......... I’d have DCE’s experience in the Kangaroos everytime....

If I was a NSW selector, I personally wouldn’t of even considered picking Luai in the N.S.W. side. But also as I’m a QLD supporter, i didn’t really care when they made that mistake. But now, I hope they keep in in the side, just so he can get humbled! Within a Origin game. But more than likely, I know he probably won’t be getting picked again. The NSW selectors don’t see it & I’d be scared if they did and started picking Wighton at 6. He brings the mongrel, but still keeps a cool head. He’s got really good controlled aggression, That’s who you’d want directing the team in a side.

I'm a neutral and the difference in every origin series is that NSW passion and will to win is 9.9/10.. Unfortunately for the Blues the Maroon's passion is 10/10... It's not hard to see that Billy Slater is going to be a success in the coaching box for some time to come, nor is it hard to see that Cherry-Evans is going to get his turn in the coaching box sometime in the future too. I became a little worried when Qld started losing players like Thurston, Smith, Cronk, etc. . but watching Cherry-Evans grow into the captain's role and seeing the way Billy Slater steered the team through this series, the growth of players like Munster, Holmes, Hunt, the newer players like Carigan, Grant, etc.. I know that Qld is once again in very good hands.

Our attack needs some serious improvement, the amount of possesion we had and the mistakes by nsw, we should have put 50 on them like they do to us in the same position. Great to win but would of liked some revenge for game 2.

It shows Freddy was more so working on their defence as he stated previously, as you would because their attack comes naturally. The Mighty Maroons would have won by more if Cobbo didn’t suffer his unfortunate injury(he would of scored the try Gagai Bombed lol), Resulting in a on game backline shuffle, not to mention their late changes over the past few days, Let alone have had the proper time to train together. So over all they actually did Very well to be Honest. Was one of the Best Games, if not the best Game in my opinion, That I’ve ever Seen. It Was a Awesome Game & Awesome finish by Ben Hunt!
