It’ll work you just have to wait longer for it to dry. Remove the valve stem so it can vent

That foam actually react with the humidity of the air , so doesnt dry just like that .... i am seriously thinking to put a strip of carpet inside the tube to function like a spacer between the inner tube , this way a puncture would be low chance

just run tyre sealant, or you can get tubes with sealant in if you don't run tubeless

I did it with the black foam pipe insulation from home depot and get far less flats. The foam tube weighs next to nothing and last a good while. But the foam needs to be smashed down some pryor to install or it's a royal pita

It would probably work as a decent sealer if you had no proper stuff because it doesn't dry for a long time in the tire, then when you get a puncture it leaks out gets exposed to air and dries out and *maybe** seals the hole temporarily

I spent a lot of time trying to reinvent a different cheaper alternative to cush core....(pool noodle) I trimmed out the pipe insulation so the tire would actually fit and the tube eventually squeezed the extra foam to the thickness of another tube.... took WAY too long to get this thing to fit in...and then still got a flat anyways....

I have high density foam in all my handlebars you just have to wait 24/36 hours for it to dry and cure! Sadly I don't have sh*tty rims to try this 😂
