Finding Community Among Parks as Community Wellness Hubs

In October 2023, 15 Parks as Community Wellness Hubs grantees had the opportunity to convene in person to discuss food security strategies, centering health equity, and advocating for their work as integral pieces of the public health system. This cohort of park and recreation professionals share the benefits of building community and partnerships among their peers, and the value in learning from each other as community health and well-being is advanced in agencies across the country.
