Yes, I asked permission to film beforehand. Engine was being used to work a lumber industry just past the road south. That's all I have to say other than that Dakota really liked that horn.

There's been a few occasions where I've walked alongside some train tracks and came across locomotives that were in the process of starting up like this. Being so close to such a large and powerful machine when it does, almost gives you goosebumps. Very similar to having some of your favorite songs on at max volume. 💯

That’s got to be the smoothest start up I’ve seen. All the others I’ve watched were a bit choppy but before finishing going.

Commuted on the LIRR back when these fine machines hauled the coaches with commuters to and from the City. I loved the sound of their engine and that distinctive whining sound. That sound meant to me an always faithful and reliable ride home. I never knew them to fail in any type of weather or cold.

@Bro wake up It’s 2006 When 2019 or 2020 came out and nothing new was added with people complaining their defense was "oh we added 64 bit support" All that means is they just recompiled the game for 64 bit. Means nothing much. Not to mention the bugs that have been in the game since 2008
@kc8rbk732 жыл бұрын
Some of us have been railfans from our earliest memories, others don't get bit by the bug till much later. Either way welcome to the railfan community. Talking to other train watchers at railfan parks is a good way to learn also the comments section or live stream chats of which there are many. I have a live stream although it seems to be difficult to find for some reason. Stupid KZbin algorithm lol.
