I have a simplehuman mirror that I purchased from QVC. It doesn't have the smaller magnetized mirror, but it does have the sensor light and the finger touch thing on the back to increase or decrease the lighting. It is one of the best purchases I have ever made.

I bet the Charlotte Tilbury will sell out. Hopefully I can swatch it because I can’t try CT in my Nordstrom’s. I wish the Tom Ford came with Cocoa Mirage - I’m dying for that one. The body oil reminds me of one from Body Shop - shimmering dry oil - smells good and is a nice subtle shimmer.

Thanks for doing these videos. I was in Nordstrom yesterday and got a preview for the sale at Charlotte Tilbury. Didn’t see the body product. I may have to get that. Looks beautiful on you. I did see the eye palette, but the rep couldn’t tell me if the shades are in other palettes or not. Wish I knew. FYI, Lancer polish gave me rosacea. I’m not making that up. It’s too harsh. My dermatologist was horrified that I had been using it. It took me two years afterwards to get my skin under control. But it will never be the same. Obviously everyone’s skin is different. But I never had sensitive skin before using it. So be forewarned. I hope you’ll be previewing some of the special items from Dior, Chanel, and more. Last year Hourglass had a great blush compact. And those supersized products are the best. You are right. That sale is better than Christmas! 💚

Omg I am horrified about the Lancer! There is a sensitive polish as well but omg... I use it everyday and no problems. I’m so sorry to hear that. The supermodel body is amazing! It has caffeine in it too so it’s supposed to help make skin look smooth. I just love the soft focus glow it gives! We have to damage out a tester of the eyeshadow quad so I will probably film a video with it soon and show comparisons :) xx

@@ErinNicoleTV , Yes. The Lancer thing was a real shock to me. I still exfoliate though (it's a Must) and the best products for me have been by Kate Somerville, which Nordstrom also carries (at least online). Her Exfolikate Gentle does Wonders in the shower. It's an enzyme exfoliator so doesn't risk tearing the skin. She also has a Liquid Exfolikate, which is an overnight treatment that you can put on right under your night time skin care that works too. Both are high performance and easy on my skin. I'd love to see a preview of the Charlotte Tilbury eye palette with comparisons to her other palettes, so I can't wait to see your video. I'm really enjoying your channel. I'm a Nordstrom shopper, so there's that. But also you are very thorough in your presentation and your swatches are terrific. Keep up the good work! And thank you for getting back to me.

In regards to the Tom Ford sets, do you know if the white suede compact is the same as the one previously released in the white and gold packaging? The Tf palette is supposed to be a variant of White Suede that is exclusive for the sale, it comes in the signature mahogany packaging but it looks similar to the palette they had last year... hopefully they last! XX

I was at Nordstrom yesterday and peeked over the rope off area and saw a Tom Ford Soleil set that looks like a compact with a eyeshadow and lipstick. Do you have any details on that set?

We are waiting to get it in store, but there are two soleil sets... one is the shimmering body oil, small fragrance and mini Paradiso lipstick for 155. Another set has the reflects gilt highlighter duo, golden peach cream shadow and paradiso lipstick for 115 :) xx

I’m not sure when the sale items will all go on the website but yes, you should still be able to see them and then when you log in with your card on the 12th you will be able to purchase the items. If you don’t have a Nordstrom card you have to wait until the 19th. It’s sort of confusing but it’s a great sale! Xx

I agree, I wish they would do a restock! It’s always the first thing to go... the powder doesn’t have a strong scent at all and the compact feels very luxe! It’s so beautiful... it’s not weighted or anything like that, still plastic I imagine but very substantial like it will last a long time. It’s meant to be refilled so it’s great quality :) xx

I do have a question for you - as a former Nordy's employee myself, do you feel like this channel has helped/improved your earnings? How do you manage both? and how are people able to purchase product from you without your employee number? Hi Arianna! Thank you so much for the wonderful compliment. Your questions all have really complicated answers so I'll do my best to address everything. I actually make an effort to keep my channel separate from my work at Nordstrom as much as possible. I love working in beauty and have had great experiences working for Nordstrom but it's still work... and for me, KZbin is an escape where I can talk about beauty and play with products for fun without pressure. As a Nordstrom employee my job is literally to sell products and as a KZbinr I don't want to "sell" anything but instead offer my advice and expertise. I sometimes mention my Nordstrom email address and that's a way for me to be contacted at work and also filter out any spammy emails. I've met incredible people from my channel that have become my best clients, but it happened naturally. It's a very difficult balance because most days I film in the morning, work a full shift and come home and edit. I don't have any days off but I really love what I do. The retail industry is changing exponentially and people are shopping differently. I would encourage anyone who is working retail to have a side hustle, back-up plan, another source of income etc. because the jobs that are available now probably won't be in a few years time. I hope this is helpful! xx

Don't get the Simplehuman mirror, it's junk. I returned mine. It was supposed to light up when you were close to it but it never would stay on, then randomly go on in my bathroom for no reason. It was awful. The sensor does NOT work. Check reviews before buying, I'm not the only one to feel this way.

@@ErinNicoleTV I got mine from QVC when it was the TSV a couple months ago and it only has 3 stars and many people are complaining about the same issue. Maybe Nordies gets a different model in tho. I wouldn't be surprised if they did, they seem to carry better items.
